Incident with pig's head at mosque in Adygea outraged Telegram users

Telegram users considered the actions of the man who threw a pig's head near a mosque in Adygea to be a provocation and called for him to be found and punished.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on September 14, the Muslim Administration of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai reported that a pig's head was thrown near the mosque of the village of Kozet in the Takhtamukaysky District of Adygea A.

The video of the incident and the message from the DUM were posted on September 14 in the "Krasnodar and Region" Telegram channel, which has 27.2 thousand subscribers. By 11:35 Moscow time on September 15, 14 comments had been posted under the post. Their authors unanimously condemned the actions of the man in the video, and some considered it a provocation.

"Of course, he works for money, [derogatory word], and takes photos for a report to the customer!.. Catch and punish!" - wrote, in particular, Tatyana Zinovieva.

"It's obviously a provocation. A normal person wouldn't even think of something like that," said Elena. "100% a provocation," agreed Natalya.

If he filmed it, then it was a provocation

"What's the point of this? It's a Muslim republic, people are living and living, you shouldn't bother them with something like that!" wrote Pavel Semenov. "Why is he doing this? Is he sick? Is he having fun?" - Mikulai was surprised. "If he filmed it, then it was a provocation. To push society towards hostility towards each other," Sergey expressed his opinion.

Similar opinions were expressed by the authors of comments to the publication about the incident, posted on the Telegram channel "ChP Maykop/Republic of Adygea" (62 thousand subscribers). "It is quite possible that this is done on purpose to pit Muslims against non-Muslims," Gött suggested, in particular.

"He came like a jackal, at night, when no one was looking, made a mess and left. The darling couldn't do more. Such people evoke nothing but pity," Aza wrote.

"A provocation 100 percent, he's filming it on camera to send it to someone," Retyp expressed his opinion. "He is either sick or he was paid for provocation, although one does not cancel the other out," Georg Stay Hard shared his opinion.

Provocateur, find and punish!

As of 11:35 Moscow time, the Adygea Ministry of Internal Affairs has not reported on its website about the investigation into the incident.

Recall that in October 2023, a pig's head was also thrown to the monument to Akhmat Kadyrov in Moscow. After the incident, Moscow resident Dmitry Kudryashov was detained. His father reported that Dmitry and his girlfriend had placed a pig's head at the monument, but the action was not religious in nature, but "was rather political."

A pig is an animal forbidden in Islam, and this incident can be regarded as an anti-Muslim action. Throwing parts of a dead animal is offensive in itself, analysts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" noted.

In December 2011, unknown individuals also threw pig heads at the Kadyrov monument, and a criminal case was opened under the article "Hooliganism."
