Two soldiers from Kabardino-Balkaria killed in combat

At least 3,658 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,698 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Kerim Kadyrov and Aslan Khakhov from the Cherek District were killed in the military operation in Ukraine, and their families were awarded the Order of Courage, the head of the district reported on September 13 in his Telegram channel. The publication does not provide details of the fighters' biographies and deaths.

Thus, at least 290 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed in Ukraine. The "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 277 of them, and the death of another 13 became known from the republic's authorities' report on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District killed in the military operation.
