Volgograd hospital building damaged by drone attack

A drone attack damaged the emergency hospital building in Volgograd. The Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 15 drones in the Rostov Region and ten in the Volgograd Region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, last night the military neutralized drones in three districts of the Rostov Region - Millerovsky, Morozovsky and Chertkovsky. According to regional authorities, there is no damage or injuries.

A private home in Volgograd was damaged as a result of a drone attack, said Governor Andrey Bocharov . "As a result of falling debris in the southern part of Volgograd, windows were knocked out and the roof of an outbuilding was damaged in a private home. According to preliminary information, there are no fires, destruction or casualties," his words are quoted in a publication on the regional administration's Telegram channel.

Later, the administration released updated data from the governor. "According to updated information, the building of the State Healthcare Institution Clinical Emergency Hospital No. 15 (State Healthcare Institution "Emergency Medical Care Clinical Hospital No. 15" - Ed. "Caucasian Knot") was damaged in the Krasnoarmeysky District. As a result of the UAV debris hitting the building, the wall of the staircase between the fifth and sixth floors was damaged. There is no fire, no evacuation is required, and there are no casualties," Bocharov said.

25 drones neutralized at night in two regions of the Southern Federal District

From 23:00 Moscow time on September 12 to 06:00, 42 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed, including 15 in the Rostov Region and 10 in Volgograd, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the report, the remaining drones were neutralized in the Belgorod, Kaluga, Kursk, Smolensk regions and in Crimea.

The restrictions have been lifted at the Volgograd airport, Artem Korenyako reported on his Telegram channel at 08:14 Moscow time. "The restrictions were introduced to ensure flight safety. During the period of restrictions, one plane "departed" to an alternate airfield," he wrote.

Recall that on the night of September 4, restrictions were also introduced on the operation of the Volgograd airport. That morning, the Ministry of Defense reported that six drones had been shot down in the Volgograd region.

In Rostov-on-Don on September 2, during a UAV attack, the upper floors of two apartment buildings were damaged. An unexploded shell was found in one of the multi-story buildings, and 320 residents were evacuated to a temporary accommodation center. After sappers removed the unexploded shell from the building, the residents returned to their apartments.
