Officials in Dagestan named the soldier killed in Ukraine

Magomed Gadzhiev from Levashinsky District was killed in combat. Since the start of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have publicly named at least 1,546 Dagestan fighters killed there.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by September 8, at least 1,545 servicemen from Dagestan were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The name of the killed contract soldier was named today by the administration of Levashinsky District, reporting on the opening of a memorial plaque with his name. A plaque with the name of Magomed Gadzhiev was unveiled in the village of Ayalakab. Gadzhiev graduated from the local school, the official Telegram channel of the municipality reported.

According to the information on the memorial, Magomed Gadzhiev, call sign "Kamil", was killed exactly one year ago, on September 9, 2024, at the time of his death he was 27 years old. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
