Semyon Slepakov* fined for failure to pay fine

The court fined the comedian and singer from Stavropol Krai Semyon Slepakov* 60 thousand rubles, who did not pay the previously imposed fine for publications without the marking of a foreign agent.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", a native of Stavropol Krai, comedian and singer Semyon Slepakov* was added to the list of foreign agents in April 2023. The Ministry of Justice explained this decision by the fact that the artist received support from foreign sources, condemned the actions of the Russian authorities in Ukraine, formed a negative attitude towards military service and spoke negatively about Russians. The performer himself lives outside of Russia. In September 2024, he received his first fine for violating the law on foreign agents in connection with publications on a Telegram channel without marking. A court in Moscow fined the artist 30 thousand rubles. In April, he was fined again.

A court in Moscow fined Semyon Slepakov* for failing to pay a previous fine for the absence of a foreign agent marking in publications on the Internet on time. This time, the fine was 60 thousand rubles, RIA Novosti writes, citing court documents.

This time, Slepakov* was charged with Part 1 of Article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to pay an administrative fine on time). In June 2024, he was fined 30 thousand rubles; the decision came into force in March of this year, but the artist did not pay the fine. According to the article in question, he must now pay a fine of double the amount.
