Ban on dissemination of information about drone attacks introduced in Kuban

In addition to data on drone attacks and their consequences, filming of air defense systems, military facilities, and critical infrastructure is prohibited. Violators of the ban will be subject to administrative liability, according to the governor's decree.

Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev signed a decree prohibiting the filming and dissemination of information on the use of drones, air defense systems, military facilities, and critical infrastructure in the region. The document, dated September 5, is posted in the "regulatory documents" section on the regional administration website.

In Krasnodar Krai, bans are being introduced on photography, video, and filming of the use and consequences of drone attacks, air defense and electronic warfare operations, UAV crash sites, locations of forces and assets of the Russian Defense Ministry, the FSB, the FSO, the Russian National Guard, military infrastructure facilities, potentially dangerous infrastructure facilities, and critically important facilities;

The resolution prohibits the dissemination of information about the use of drones, including the type of devices, launch sites, flight path, and nature of damage caused. The restrictions do not apply to the activities of federal and regional authorities, including the official publication of information in the media.

The function of tracking violators of the bans is assigned to the Regional Control Center, as well as specialists from the regional departments of the FSB, the Russian National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Violators will be charged with administrative violations. The amount of fines for violating the ban is not specified in the resolution.
