Astrakhan Region authorities named the murdered soldier

Rustam Yakubov was killed in the war zone. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 606 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, by September 1, the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 605 fighters from the Astrakhan region as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

On September 3, a "hero's desk" was opened in the secondary school of the village of Pokrovka in the Akhtubinsky district in honor of local resident Rustam Yakubov, who was killed in the SVL. Returning home after his military service, Yakubov worked at a poultry farm. Despite the fact that his job provided him with an exemption from mobilization, Yakubov signed a contract and went to the military operation. On May 9, 2024, he was killed, as reported in the official Telegram channel of the Akhtubinsky District Administration.

Thus, at least 606 fighters from the Astrakhan Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
