Contract soldier from Volgograd region killed in Ukraine

Igor Eisenakh from Zhirnovsky District was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have officially named at least 1,311 soldiers from the Volgograd Region as killed.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by August 26, at least 1,310 soldiers from the Volgograd Region had been officially recognized as killed.

Igor Eisenakh, killed in the combat zone in Ukraine, was buried in the village of Linevo on August 28, the administration of the Zhirnovsky District of the Volgograd Region reported. 

Eisenakh, who was 45 years old at the time of his death, went to serve under contract. He was a rifle squad commander, according to a publication on the municipality's official Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 1,311 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in military action in Ukraine. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially announced by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Statistics of the North-West Military District: Losses Are Growing for the South of Russia".
