50 applications for financial assistance received after drone attack in Rostov-on-Don

16 people from houses damaged by a drone attack in the center of Rostov-on-Don remain in a temporary accommodation center. A number of houses require repairs, 50 residents have written applications for one-time assistance.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, at least 15 people have been evacuated from a residential building in the center of Rostov-on-Don, where a fire broke out after a drone fell . A total of seven houses were damaged, a temporary accommodation center has been opened for residents.

Four groups of specialists are inspecting houses for damage after the night drone attack in the center of Rostov-on-Don, said the head of the administration of the city's Leninsky district, Yulia Mishchuk.

"We have 16 residents at the temporary accommodation center, these are the residents who cannot yet get into their homes due to operational actions. We have a headquarters in the same building, from September 1, the headquarters will work in the administration of the Leninsky district. We have a doctor and a psychologist working here around the clock. Our task now is to help these residents as much as possible - with medicines, food, clothing," Interfax quotes her as saying.

50 applications for one-time financial assistance have already been accepted, Mishchuk said on her Telegram channel.

According to her, one of the houses needs a complete replacement of the roof structures, replacement of the fourth floor ceiling and restoration of the brickwork of the walls. Another house needs to have its rafter system and roof decking replaced. Repairs are scheduled to begin on September 1. Manufacturing and installation of new windows will begin on September 5. Also, management companies have begun to temporarily cover window openings with film.
