Lists of lagging schoolchildren based on the results of the next academic year will be sent to the Administration of the Head and Government of the Republic, said the Minister of Education and Science of Chechnya, Khozh-Baudi Daayev, during a meeting of the heads of educational institutions of the Republic.

According to the minister, starting in the 2024/2025 academic year, on the instructions of the head of the region, a new assessment system has been introduced in educational institutions, aimed at increasing objectivity. According to the results of midterm assessments, more than 1.5 thousand students in schools in the Chechen Republic were at risk due to poor academic performance. All of these children did not meet the requirements for moving on to the next grade.
