Drone danger regime declared in North Ossetia and Dagestan

A drone alert was introduced this morning in North Ossetia and Dagestan. Residents were warned about a possible slowdown in mobile communications and the Internet.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, on the night of August 23, the military destroyed seven unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type in Russian regions. All of them were shot down over the territories of the Southern Federal District: four in the Rostov Region, two in the Volgograd Region, and another in the Krasnodar Region.

The fact that a drone alert was introduced in North Ossetia was announced in his Telegram channel by the head of the region, Sergei Menyailo, at 5:16 Moscow time. He warned that the republic may experience a slowdown in mobile internet and communications.

"I ask you to remain calm, not to respond to provocations and to trust only official information," he wrote.

The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reports the danger of a drone attack in Dagestan. "Attention! Risk of UAV attack in the Republic of Dagestan 05:00. Stay home if possible! Take shelter in windowless rooms with solid walls! Do not approach windows! If you are outside or in a vehicle, go to the nearest shelter," the department's Telegram channel says.

Dagestan also reported possible interruptions in the operation of mobile Internet.

Recall that as a result of a drone crash the day before, a high-rise building in the city of Petrov Val in the Volgograd Region was damaged, three people were injured, including a child.
