Vegetation fire at UAV crash site in Volgograd

Volgograd Region was subjected to a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles last night. A fire broke out in the regional center at the site of the drone crash.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, residents of Volgograd reported tonight the sounds of drones and explosions in the sky. The work of the local airport was limited.

According to the Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrey Bocharov, tonight the region was again in the zone of a massive UAV attack.

"Due to the fall of fragments of unmanned aerial vehicles in the south of the city - in the area of Udmurtskaya and Jack London streets - local fires of dry vegetation occurred," the head of the region said in a message on the Telegram channel of the Volgograd Region Administration. - Fire crews are already working on the ground."

Authorities note that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of repelling the drone attack.

We remind you that last night the air defense forces also repelled an air attack in the north of the Rostov Region. The UAVs were shot down in the Millerovsky, Tarasovsky and Kamensky districts. Grass caught fire in several places where debris fell.
