Volgograd residents receive permission to return to house damaged by drone attack

Residents of the 16-story building on Opolchenskaya Street, where UAV debris fell, were allowed to return to their apartments, the mayor's office reported on its Telegram channel.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, today drone debris fell on the roof of a multi-story building in Volgograd, residents were evacuated.

The administration clarified that sappers eliminated the consequences of the drone debris. "Due to the end of operational activities, residents of the apartment building are returning to their apartments," the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that some residents of the building in the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd, on the roof of which UAV debris fell, were temporarily relocated to a temporary accommodation center.

"Buses were quickly sent to the site for residents of the apartment building... 14 residents are in a temporary accommodation center in the building of school No. 3. Sleeping places and hot meals were organized for them on the territory of the temporary accommodation center," the statement on the Volgograd administration's Telegram channel said.

It should be noted that, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 11 drones were shot down in the Volgograd Region. Thus, it was reported that temporary restrictions on the operation of the Volgograd airport, introduced at night to ensure flight safety, were lifted at 4.36 Moscow time.
