In the Untsukulsky district of Dagestan, after heavy rains, one of the roads was blocked by a mudflow and rockfall, the power supply to Makhachkala, Kaspiysk and villages in two districts was disrupted.

In four municipalities of the republic - the Untsukulsky and Buinaksky districts, Makhachkala and Kaspiysk - the power supply was disrupted, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan reported on the evening of August 10 on its official website.

A little later, the department reported that reversible traffic had been opened in the direction of Verkhniy Gunib, and roadway cleaning work was ongoing. Power supply had also been restored in the Buinaksk District and partially in Makhachkala.

According to the State Institution "Dagestanavtodor", traffic according to a temporary scheme was introduced on the Gimry Tunnel - Vremenny Poselok section. The road remains closed on the section from Vremenny Poselok to Akhulgo. Traffic was organized along a bypass route through the settlements of Ashilta and Untsukul via the Ashiltinsky Pass along the Arakanskaya Ploshchad - Untsukul - Sagrinsky Bridge road. The department reported this today on its Telegram channel.

Later, the department reported on the introduction of a temporary travel scheme on the regional road Shamilkala - Vremenny settlement on the section from 10 to 11 kilometers.
