Major Skobeleva held the position of deputy commander of a military unit (chief of staff) of the Russian National Guard stationed in Kuban. The accused Olga Erina, Daria Zaykina, Natalya Klimenko, Ivanna Rudyk, Oksana Stash and Mariet Chitao were servicemen of the Russian National Guard or employees of the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Prikubansky District of Krasnodar. The remaining defendants in the case are accused of bribery (Part 3 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to investigators, several hundred people received temporary registration in a separate battalion for the supply of materials to the troops of the Russian National Guard between July 2020 and March 2022. Among them were both Russian citizens and natives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia, who had recently received Russian passports. The aforementioned citizens had no relationship with the structures of the Russian National Guard and were not family members of military personnel. The security forces were interested in this situation. It turned out that there was an advert on the Internet about obtaining temporary registration, and the woman announced the cost of the service at the numbers provided: temporary registration cost 20 thousand roubles, and its annual renewal was the same.

The scheme for obtaining fictitious temporary registration was as follows: clients handed over money and documents to intermediaries, on the appointed day they came to the migration department and received passports with registration marks without waiting in line. More than a hundred bribe-givers have already admitted their guilt and have been convicted - they were fined 20 thousand rubles each.

Earlier, "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote that at the end of July, Krasnodar security forces found more than 30 illegal migrants at a construction site of one of the residential complexes.
