Almost three thousand complaints were received from residents of Dagestan about the lack of electricity

During the week, residents of Dagestan complained most often to the Regional Control Center about the lack of electricity and lack of water. The largest number of complaints, 3,474, came from Makhachkala.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on the morning of August 7, part of the Reduktorny settlement was again without power, local residents said. This happened after residents of the Reduktorny settlement in Makhachkala went on a spontaneous street protest on August 6 due to the lack of power in their homes. The city administration then reported that power supply to most houses had been restored. On August 8, residents of the Reduktorny settlement in Makhachkala complained about the ongoing regular power outages. Makhachkala residents from other areas of the city are experiencing similar problems.

The head of the Dagestan Regional Control Center, Israfil Israfilov, published statistics on complaints from residents of the republic.

"Over the past week, the Regional Control Center received 4,374 requests, which is 697 more than the week before. The most common reasons for requests were: power outages, accidents at substations, power lines - 2,911 (+1,179), lack of cold and/or hot water - 280 (-424), violations in waste management (draining liquid household waste, dumping garbage, etc.) - 228 (+4), improvement of public spaces - 79 (+22), poor-quality repair and reconstruction of roads (in including violation of technologies, deadlines) - 49 (+4) (the figure in brackets is compared to the number of complaints last week - note of the "Caucasian Knot")," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the department, most complaints came from Makhachkala - 3,474, which is 692 more than the week before. In second place in terms of the number of complaints was Kaspiysk - 487, which is 127 more than last week. Derbent took third place in terms of the number of appeals 160, and this is the only one of the five cities mentioned by Israfilov where the number of complaints decreased over the week - last week there were 121 more. Also in the top five are Khasavyurt - 45 complaints and Buynaksk - 33 complaints.
