The queue in front of the Crimean Bridge in Kuban is growing again

Drivers and passengers of 945 cars are waiting to cross the Crimean Bridge in Krasnodar Krai. There are no delays from the Kerch side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on August 7, after two closures of traffic on the Crimean Bridge, long queues of cars formed at the inspection points . By 11:00, 2,120 cars were waiting to cross from the Taman side, and 1,450 from the Crimea side.

According to information as of 7:00 Moscow time, 945 vehicles were waiting in line for manual inspection from the Taman side. "The waiting time is about three hours," the operational channel of the information center for highways reported about the situation on the auto approaches to the Crimean Bridge and preparations for inspection.

At the same time, the source noted that there is no queue in front of the manual inspection point on the Kerch side.

Congestion was also reported today by users of the "Crimean Bridge Chat" Telegram chat.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, and two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
