Kuban train passenger fined for gloating during drone attack

A court in Goryachy Klyuch fined Krasnodar Krai resident Margarita Reutt under the article on discrediting the army due to a malicious comment during the drone attack on the Likhaya station in the Rostov region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on July 18, as a result of a drone attack, the contact network on the Likhaya - Zamchalovo section in the Rostov region was damaged. In the first 24 hours, more than 75 passenger trains were delayed, on the second day after the incident - more than 130. A Russian Railways employee on duty at the Likhaya station, was injured.

The administrative case of 31-year-old Margarita Reutt was brought to the attention of the publication “Ostorozhno, Novosti” today. The ruling was published on the website of the Goryacheklyuchevsky City Court on August 2, although the case was heard on July 20.

As follows from the ruling, late in the evening of July 18, Reutt was in the 13th carriage of the Samara-Adler train at the Likhaya station in the Rostov Region. According to the police and the court, the woman “expressed herself against the people of the Russian Federation and the Russian army” - “during the UAV shelling of the Likhaya station, she shouted: “Serves you right, Russians…”, the document says.

In court, Reutt admitted her guilt and repented of her actions; the court fined her 30,000 rubles.

Margarita Reutt is a resident of Sochi, Kuban journalist Andrei Koshik wrote on his Telegram channel. In May 2020, the police charged her with violating the self-isolation regime in effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the case was heard by the Central District Court of Sochi.
