Almost 1,500 cars are expected to cross the Crimean Bridge from the Kuban side

There are 1,485 cars in the queue to cross the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, drivers report that they have been stuck in traffic for more than four hours.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", on the morning of August 3 there were 1,050 cars in the queue to cross the Crimean Bridge from the Kuban side, and 50 cars from the Kerch side.

According to data as of 05:00 Moscow time today, August 4, there were 1,485 vehicles, the waiting time was about four hours, the telegram channel "Crimean Bridge. Operational Information" reports.

There was no queue from the Kerch side.

During the entire day of August 3, the number of cars waiting to pass exceeded a thousand, at some hours there were even more than 2,000 vehicles in the queue.

Users of the "Crimean Bridge" chat confirmed that they stood in line for about four hours. "We got stuck in a traffic jam in Crimea, before reaching Lukoil, at 00.12, we leave for the bridge at 04.10," said Ekaterina Semenyuk.

"From the start of the traffic jam to leaving the scanner, 5.5 hours. Normal, it could have been worse," Zhanna boasted.

"It took 3.50 hours (we stopped before reaching Lukoil). The inspection took 17 minutes," Gordey Vlasov shared his impressions.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
