Man Dies in Drone Attack in Rostov Region

Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Belaya Kalitva and five districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones. In the Krasnosulinsky district, as a result of the attack, a fire broke out at an enterprise, and a security guard died.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the night of August 1, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Neklinovsky and Tarasovsky districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones. As a result of the attack, the houses of residents of Novoshakhtinsk and villagers in the Neklinovsky district were damaged. The authorities promised to help the victims restore their property. According to the military, 12 drones were shot down in the region.

Last night, the military destroyed drones in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Belaya Kalitva, as well as in Krasnosulinsky, Kamensky, Tarasovsky, Chertkovsky and Verkhnedonsky districts, the acting governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

"In the village of Uglerodovsky in the Krasnosulinsky district, one of the buildings of the enterprise caught fire, the fire was extinguished. Unfortunately, there was a tragedy - the employee who was guarding the facility died," he wrote.

Recall that on July 29, in Salsk, a driver of a car was killed in a drone attack, and two sappers were killed while demining the drone. That day, 11 private houses and 10 apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the drone attack.

On July 26, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and six districts of Rostov Oblast were attacked by drones. In Zimovnikovsky District, a car burned down near a highway as a result of the attack, killing two people. According to the authorities, both of the deceased are residents of Kalmykia.

On July 23, two women and a man were taken to a hospital in Novocherkassk, injured in the drone attack.
