Residents' homes in Rostov region damaged by drone attack

As a result of the drone attack, houses of Novoshakhtinsk residents and villagers in the Neklinovsky district were damaged. The authorities promised to help the victims restore their property.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night residents of Taganrog reported that they heard at least ten explosions. The head of the city, Svetlana Kambulova, announced the threat of a drone attack and explained that "air defense forces are working".

Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Neklinovsky and Tarasovsky districts were attacked by drones last night, the acting governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

"In Novoshakhtinsk, windows were knocked out in a private house on Oktyabrskaya Street, where a large family lives. Fragments of a UAV hit the roof of a house on Baidukova Street," he wrote.

An external wall of a private house in the village of Petrushino in the Neklinovsky district was damaged, the official noted. "The roof of the house on Zavodskaya Street caught fire, and near Rodionovo-Nesvetayskaya Sloboda, there was grass on an area of 100 square meters. Fire crews that arrived at the scene quickly extinguished the fire. The main thing is that no one was hurt. We will help families whose property was damaged restore it," the publication says.

Svetlana Kambulova announced "all clear for air danger in the city" at 05:34 Moscow time. "The emergency services are eliminating the UAV fragments that fell on the territory of our city. There are no casualties. There is no damage," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Recall that on July 29, in Salsk, a driver of a car was killed in a drone attack, and two sappers were killed while demining the drone. As a result of the drone attack, 11 private and 10 apartment buildings were damaged.

On July 26, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and six districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones. In the Zimovnikovsky district, a car burned down near the highway as a result of the attack, and two people died. According to the authorities, both of the deceased are residents of Kalmykia.

On July 23, two women and a man were taken to a hospital in Novocherkassk, injured in the drone attack.
