The queue in front of the Crimean Bridge has grown to 1,050 cars

Drivers of 653 cars are waiting in Krasnodar Krai to cross the bridge across the Kerch Strait, another 397 cars are standing in line on the Crimean side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, today by 02:00 Moscow time, a queue of 79 cars had formed in front of the Crimean Bridge on the Taman side . There was no queue from the Kerch side.

As of 09:00 Moscow time, there were already 653 vehicles in the queue to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, the Information Center for Highways to the Crimean Bridge reported on its Telegram channel.

"The waiting time is more than two hours. There are 397 vehicles in the queue for manual inspection from the Kerch side. The waiting time is more than an hour," the message says.

There is a traffic jam from the Taman side

Today, users of the "Crimean Bridge Chat" Telegram chat also reported traffic jams in front of the bridge. "There is a traffic jam from the Taman side," Nicolay wrote, in particular, at 08:01 Moscow time. "We got stuck in a traffic jam from the Taman side at 6:50, and we're still stuck," elechka reported at 08:02.

"How are things from the Taman side?" Irina asked at 08:18 Moscow time. "Two hours manual, 4 [hours] scanner," - the chat administrator Oleg Volodin responded to this.

"From Taman, at 7:05 got stuck in a traffic jam, at 8:30 manual inspection started, at 8:50 entering the bridge," - Mikhail Bochkarev shared his experience of the journey.

"At 7:37 we stopped from the Taman side, at 9:07 we left the inspection," - reported a user with a nickname consisting of dots.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, and two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, and the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Traffic on the bridge was restored a month later.
