A queue of 476 cars formed in front of the Crimean Bridge

Drivers of 216 cars are waiting to cross the bridge across the Kerch Strait in Krasnodar Krai, 260 cars are in line from the Crimean side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on July 21, a queue of 990 cars formed in front of the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side. Later, the traffic jam increased to 1,170 cars.

As of 12:00 Moscow time, 216 cars are in line to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, the Information Center for Highways to the Crimean Bridge reported on its Telegram channel. "There are 260 vehicles in line for manual inspection from the Kerch side. The wait is about an hour," the report says.

According to hourly publications, there were no lines in front of the bridge on the evening of July 26 and last night. However, by 03:00 Moscow time, a line of 90 cars had formed from the Taman side, which then began to grow.

Traffic jams in front of the bridge were also reported today by users of the "Crimean Bridge Chat" Telegram chat. "We got in line from the Taman side at 11:10, and drove onto the bridge at 11:50," wrote, in particular, Tatiana.

"We got stuck in a traffic jam from the Taman side at 10:03. We went through inspection at 11:03. We crossed the bridge at 11:22," reported Natali. "Taman. Traffic jam started: 11.04. Inspection completed: 11.58," Petr reported.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB said that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
