The Ministry of Defense reported UAVs shot down in the south at night

Over the past night, air defense forces intercepted 35 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles in the country's regions, including eight of them in the south.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, last night the military repulsed a massive drone attack in Rostov-on-Don, Millerovo, Donetsk and the Azov region.

According to the Defense Ministry, 35 UAVs were eliminated by air defense systems on duty in the regions of Russia on the night of July 22. Seven drones were neutralized over the territory of the Rostov Region, and another one was neutralized over the Black Sea.

Drones were also shot down in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Samara, Tula, Belgorod, Kursk regions and the Moscow region, the department's Telegram channel reported.

Recall that on the night of July 21, 12 drones were shot down in the Rostov region. As a result of the drone attack, the roof of the Kamenolomny railway station in the Oktyabrsky district caught fire. A flower shop also caught fire in the village of Kamenolomny, and a private house, a summer kitchen and two cars were damaged in the village of Rakovo in the Krasnosulinsky district. In addition, drones were shot down in Shakhty, Novoshakhtinsk and Novocherkassk.
