Stalin monument installed in Tskhinvali
A monument to Joseph Stalin has been installed near a bakery plant in Tskhinvali on the initiative of the enterprise’s director.
The monument to Joseph Stalin has been installed near the building of the bakery plant in the capital of South Ossetia. The monument is life-size, and its height is one meter and 72 centimetres. The finishing is currently being completed, after which a grand opening ceremony is planned, the IA “Res” news agency reports today.
The idea of installing the monument to Joseph Stalin belongs to bakery plant’s director Vadim Tskhovrebov. According to his note, in such a way, he wants to perpetuate the memory of the public figure whose merits and contribution to the development of the state and society “are valued higher in many countries than in ours.”
As part of the improvement of the adjacent territory, it is also planned to install a flagpole with the Victory Banner and a radio point that will play the Joseph Stalin’s speech and the Yuri Levitan’s address to the people announcing the victory in Worl War II, the IA “Res” news agency reports.
Earlier, historians interviewed by the “Caucasian Knot”. Have noted that among the residents of the North-Caucasian republics, Joseph Stalin is revered by those who mistakenly associate him with the concept of “social justice,” which they have despaired of getting from the current authorities.
