Kidnapped Areg Schepikhin insults Muslims and Chechens in his blog
In his videos, blogger and entrepreneur Areg Schepikhin, who was kidnapped at the Yaroslavsky Railway Station in Moscow in the evening of June 3, spoke out against Muslims and Jews and also insulted Chechens and Dagestanis.
Late in the evening of June 3, armed men speaking Chechen kidnapped from the Yaroslavsky Railway Station in Moscow entrepreneur Areg Schepikhin, who was recording videos insulting Chechens and Muslims. The police stopped the car in which the entrepreneur was taken from the Yaroslavsky Railway Station, but no kidnapped man was in the car.
Areg Schepikhin runs a blog on the Instagram* social networking service, where he regularly posts videos with insults, including those directed at specific persons, as well as Muslims, Jews, and residents of Northern Caucasus. As of 11:00 a.m. Moscow time on June 4, the Areg Schepikhin’s blog had only 307 subscribers and 244 posts.
In particular, yesterday, on June 3, at about 2:00 p.m. Moscow time, two videos with insults directed at Muslims were published in the blog. In the first video, Areg Schepikhin, using a large number of swear words, calls on “all Armenians,” those “who love Armenians,” “athletes, strong guys” to come to the Moscow City area and beat up Chechens and Dagestanis, “take their cards, cash.” “I’m here. You can come up to me, show me, [...] or something else,” the blogger says at the end of his video.
In the second video, Areg Schepikhin calls for “programming the government for Nazism” in relation to Jews and Muslims from Northern Caucasus. “So that the government stops providing benefits for Muslims and Jews,” the blogger claims.
The possibility to post comments under the mentioned videos has been limited.
