Unknown men kidnap resident of Ingushetia

In the rural settlement of Yandare, six armed men have forcibly put a man into a car and fled.

A criminal case has been opened in Ingushetia on the fact of the kidnapping of the above 28-year-old man.

According to investigators, in the evening on May 10, near a grocery store in Ordzhonikidze Street in Yandare, six armed men kidnapped a local resident. Threatening him with firearms and traumatic weapons, they forced him into a car and fled to some unknown destination, the Ingush Branch of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported.

At the crime venue, 5.45 mm calibre cartridges, a traumatic pistol and unnamed other crime traces were found. Witnesses are being questioned, and suspects are being sought.

The criminal case was opened under subparagraphs "a", "c" and "d" of Part 2 of Article 126 of the Russia’s Criminal Code(kidnapping a person by a group of persons by prior conspiracy with the use of violence dangerous to one’s life and health, and with the use of weapons).
