Volgograd resident fined for discrediting Russian Army

The court has fined Victor Femelidi, a Volgograd resident, treating him guilty of discrediting Russian militaries.

According to investigators, Femelidi went to the YouTube channel of a Ukrainian media outlet and in his comment placed under the video, spoke negatively about the Russian Armed Forces, and accused them of violating human rights. The comment was found by law enforcers, and a case was opened.

In court, Victor Femelidi admitted his guilt and repented. The court fined him by 15,000 roubles, the Tsentralny District Court of Volgograd informed in its website.
