Member of Ingush National Council Albogachiev claims threats from Chechen MP Delimkhanov

Delegations of Chechnya and Ingushetia met with the purpose to prevent the escalation of the conflict after the shooting near an office of the “Wildberries” Company. However, during the meeting, Adam Delimkhanov, a Russian State Duma member from Chechnya, called for “cutting off heads.” This information was reported by Musa Albogachiev, a member of the National Council of Ingushetia.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that during the meeting of the Ingush and Chechen delegations in Moscow, Adam Delimkhanov placed responsibility for the incident on Bekkhan Barakhoev, a Russian State Duma member from Ingushetia. Adam Delimkhanov claimed that the natives of Chechnya had to open return fire after they themselves came under fire. In turn, Bekkhan Barakhoev claimed that security guards of the “Wildberries” Company’s office were not armed and “did not intend to fight.”

On September 18, in Moscow, a group of men smashed the windows at the entrance to the business centre where the “Wildberries” Company’s office was located. In response, gunfire was opened, and natives of Ingushetia Islambek Elmurziev and Adam Almazov were killed.

Earlier, Caucasian experts have noted it is too early to talk about the possibility off blood feud, because the guilty persons had not been yet identified.

In a video posted on the “Serdtse Ingusha” (Heart of the Ingush) YouTube channel, Musa Albogachiev emphasized the need to observe traditions even when resolving the business conflict around the “Wildberries” Company. The member of the National Council of Ingushetia mentioned the Vainakh adats (local customary practices observed by a Muslim community, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”), according to which the guilty party must admit the guilt.

The people, associated with the leader of Chechnya, helped the Bakalchuk family resolve business problems eight years ago, and last summer, Vladislav Bakalchuk contacted the leader of Chechnya directly, the very co-owner of the “Wildberries” Company stated several days before the incident with shooting.
