Up to 15 militants attack the Gukhoy village in Chechnya

The attack on the village of Gukhoy of the Itum-Kalinskiy District of Chechnya, as result of which one militiaman was killed and four other wounded, was committed by up to 15 militants.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya. So far, the search of the militants who yesterday night shelled the school building and the house of the administration head of the Gukhoy village has brought no results.

"According to preliminary data, up to 15 militants took part in the attack on the house of the administration head and school building in the Gukhoy village of the Itum-Kalinskiy District. The household and the school were swept from automatic weapons and tubular grenade launchers. Andarbek Dadaev, junior militia sergeant, an employee of the Patrol and Watchpost Service of the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs, was killed by the attackers. Four more militiamen were wounded during the attack on the school," the source from the Ministry has reported.

According to his story, the house of the administration head of the Gukhoy village hit by several tubular grenade launcher shots has completely burned down.
