Action of anarchists in defence of the persons accused of blowing up the "Neva Express" train dispersed by militia

In the centre of Moscow, at the building of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, the militia has dispersed an action held by a dozen of anarchists in defence of Andrei Kalyonov and Denis Zelenyuk, their St-Petersburg associates suspected of blowing up the "Neva Express" train. Olga Krylova, a participant of the action and an activist of the "Independent Action" Movement, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.

At 5:05 p.m. one of the activists chained herself up to the fence of the building of the reception room of the RF General Prosecutor's Office in the Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street. At the same time, the rest of the protesters unwrapped the slogan "No to political repressions!" and started to shout out: "Freedom to political prisoners!"

The participants of the protest action disseminated leaflets among passers-by stating that the charges presented to Kalyonov and Zelenyuk were groundless and, most probably, fabricated.

The action was over at 5:25 p.m., when the reinforcement of seven militiamen appeared at the scene and detained eight picketers.

Currently, the detained anarchists are kept in the premises of the Tver District Interior Department (OVD) of Moscow located in the Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street. According to Olga Krylova, nobody suffered at the detention.

The previous protest action against Andrei Kalyonov's and Denis Zelenyuk's arrest was held on September 2 at the monument to victims of political repressions in St-Petersburg.
