Rubati Mitsaeva, Akhmed Zakaev's ex-ally, who returned to Chechnya, demands apologies for threats she received in Turkey

Rubati Mitsaeva, a former associate of Akhmed Zakaev, has stated that she and her daughter received threats when in Turkey on behalf of the blogger, Khasan Khalitov, and she resorted to retaliatory threats, demanding apologies. Instagram* users have reacted with irritation to her statement.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 14, 2021, Rubati Mitsaeva, a former associate of Akhmed Zakaev, a former Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, returned to Chechnya. She had lived in Germany, but on October 6, 2021, she asked Ramzan Kadyrov to allow her to return to her homeland. Mitsaeva called her desire to live in her homeland with relatives as the reason for the appeal to the head of Chechnya.

In her video posted on the Instagram*, Rubati Mitsaeva has demanded apologies from the people who had threatened her and her daughter. According to her version, two persons told the security guard who is on duty at her daughter's house in Turkey to send greetings "from Khasan Khalitov" and told her daughter "that she and her mother did not have long to live."

Mitsaeva said that she had a video from surveillance cameras with the faces of those who came with threats. She also asked why the threats were not addressed to her when she was in Turkey, and then voiced an ultimatum to the authors of the threats.

"You have an hour to return to my daughter's door and apologize," she said. Otherwise, Mitsaeva promised to send "the entire Turkish police" on the authors of the threats.

Some commentators doubted the seriousness of Mitsaeva's threats. "Calm down, no one is interested in you and your daughter. For the sake of hype, you'll do anything," the user aar_557777 has written.

Others have supported Mitsaeva. "In many ways, she's right, men should not deal with women if they are real men," the user aliman20011 believes.

At the same time, others indicated that they were surprised at her statement.
