Journalist Vishnevetskaya arrested in Makhachkala

A court in Makhachkala has arrested Yulia Vishnevetskaya, a correspondent for the Radio Liberty*, who was covering an anti-mobilization action against, for five days.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, a correspondent for the Radio Liberty* was detained at the venue of the action in Makhachkala, where she was performing an editorial assignment there.

Let us remind you that on September 26, law enforcers also detained Idris Yusupov, a journalist of the "Novoye Delo" outlet, and Sergey Ainbinder, the editor-in-chief of the "RusNews", who had come to cover the protest action. Ainbinder reported that he was beaten up, and his equipment was broken. On September 27, the police released Yusupov and Ainbinder.
