Daudov reveals number of volunteers from Chechnya fighting in Ukraine

A new group of volunteers has flown to Ukraine, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has reported today. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, more than 5000 volunteers have been sent there from Chechnya, Magomed Daudov, the Chairman (Speaker) of the Chechen Parliament, has added.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov is regularly announcing the dispatch of detachments of volunteers to Ukraine, including residents of other Russian regions. On August 29, he stated that another contingent of volunteers, who had been trained by military instructors from the Russian University of Special Forces, was sent to the special operation zone.

Another plane with a volunteer contingent took off from Grozny Airport to the site of the special military operation, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated today. "Each of the fighters has taken courses of accelerated tactical and fire training in the territory of the Russian University of Special Forces located in Gudermes," he wrote today in his Telegram channel.

A video was also posted there, in which the volunteers were seen off at the airport by the Speaker, Magomed Daudov. "Since the start of the special military operation, over 5000 our volunteer fighters have been sent there," he says in the video.
