After autumn was, over 1000 refugee families receive housing in Nagorno-Karabakh

Six large families of internally displaced persons (IDPs, or forced migrants) have moved into new houses built in the Askeran District of Nagorno-Karabakh; they were provided with furniture, cows and poultry. In total, over 1000 families received housing. They plan to cultivate the land and raise livestock.

According to Arman Mikoyan, the producer of the "100 Houses in Artsakh" TV project, ready-made houses are offered to families with many children from villages that came under Azerbaijan's control after the 44-day-long war.

The large family of Nune Gazaryan, who earlier lived in the Tagavard community of the Martuni District, has moved into a new house built within the "100 houses in Artsakh" project. Prior to this, the family with three children lived in a rented apartment in the city.

"Now, we have our own house. We start re-creating our household. I'm tired of living in a rented apartment where you can't even create comfort," Nune Gazaryan has stated.

Edik Gakhramanyan from the Gadrut District has moved into a four-room house built in a new neighbourhood. He believes that the house is of high quality and is suitable for his five children.
