Instagram* users called for check of land deals in KBR

The searches conducted in the Elbrus District have to do with the sale of resort lands, social network users have suggested and called for checking the land deals concluded in other districts of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 15, sources reported that law enforcers were conducting, as part of a criminal case, searches in the administration of the Elbrus District and the village of Elbrus, as well as in house of some employees thereof.

Information about the searches was posted on July 15 in the Instagram* public "KBR Patriot".

Social network users have suggested that the searches had to do with illegal sales of land plots and approved investigators' actions calling to extend the checks to other KBR districts. "The most important thing is to make the checks fair. And why is it only in the Elbrus District, as if everything is so beautiful in other ones?" the user malkar07 has written, in particular.

"It should be done in all the districts, especially in the Baksan one," the user zolotaya_shkatulka has suggested. "Lawlessness is throughout the republic. Searches should have been done a long time ago," the user irma.0776.1976 has shared her opinion.

*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities of the "Meta" Company (that owns the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) in Russia in connection with its alleged extremist activities.
