Another group of volunteers leaves Grozny for Ukraine

Another group of volunteers has flown from Grozny to the zone of the military operation. This was announced on July 1 by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in his Telegram channel.

The number of law enforcers and volunteers from Chechnya who have perished in Ukraine is still not disclosed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 26, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that four military battalions would be formed in Chechnya – "North-Akhmat", "South-Akhmat", "West-Akhmat" and "East-Akhmat". On June 28, he reported that the new "West-Akhmat" battalion has been already staffed by residents of Chechnya. The creation of Chechen battalions for the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) indicates Kadyrov's special status, analysts believe.
