Relatives of perished Armenian soldiers achieve open trial on their complaint

The consideration of the complaint against the refusal to bring Nikol Pashinyan to criminal responsibility will be held in the open mode, the mother of a soldier who perished in Nagorno-Karabakh has stated. The participants of the protest action held by victims' relatives have demanded a meeting with the head of the Armenia's Investigating Committee (IC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 1, several dozen parents of the military servicemen who perished in the autumn war of 2020 gathered near the IC's building and demanded to arrest the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. On May 26, parents of the dead soldiers gathered outside the building of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia after the court had decided to consider their complaint about the refusal to initiate a treason case against Pashinyan behind closed doors.

Now, Karin Tonoyan, the mother of the volunteer, Menua Arutyunyan, who perished during the 2020 war, has informed that the court decided to hold an open session on the above complaint about the refusal to initiate a treason case and bring Pashinyan to justice.

Another group of mothers of perished soldiers held their protest in front of the Armenia's IC, demanding a meeting with Argishti Karamyan, the head of the IC. The mothers have stated on air of the "Yerkir.am" portal that state structures are defending authorities' interests.
