Orders of Courage handed over to fathers of Dagestani residents who perished in Ukraine

Abedin Magomedov and Roman Nurov, who perished during the special military operation in Ukraine, were posthumously awarded the Orders of Courage, the administration of the city of Dagestanskiye Ogni reported. Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the information about at least 129 natives of Dagestan perished in Ukraine has been officially confirmed.

Djalalutdin Alirzaev, Mayor of Dagestanskiye Ogni, and military commissar Farid Musaev handed over Orders of Courage to fathers of Renat Nurov and Abedin Magomedov awarded posthumously, the press service for the city administration reported.

The administration of Dagestanskiye Ogni reported about the death of 22-year-old Renat Nurov on April 11.

The “Caucasian Knot” runs a list of names of natives of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) and Southern Federal District (SFD) who perished during the military special operation in Ukraine. The list is compiled on the basis of the data officially announced by the authorities of the regions and municipalities.
