Yerevan refutes Baku's allegation about border shelling

The statement that Armenian military servicemen have shells the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces deployed in the Kelbadjar District has nothing to do with reality, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

Today, the Azerbaijan MoD has claimed that Armenian militaries had shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the Kelbadjar District from the territory of the Vardenis District.

"The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is stable," the Armenian MoD reported on its Telegram channel.

Let us remind you that the Kelbadjar District (the Armenian name of Kelbadjar is Karvachar) came under the Azerbaijan's control by the outcomes of the autumn war of 2020. Earlier, it was a part of the territory of the Shaumyan and Martakert Districts of Nagorno-Karabakh.
