Instagram users* call to punish a Chechen teacher for beating children

The Prosecutor’s Office of Chechnya has launched an investigation after a post with a video in which a man was beating children on a sports ground. Social media users considered the behaviour of the teacher to be excessively cruel and called for punishment.

The video was posted on May 18, and an inspection was launched, the Prosecutor’s Office of Chechnya reported.

In particular, the above video has been posted in the “Revizorro095” Instagram public account.

In their comments, most users, assuming that the man was a teacher or a coach, considered such behaviour excessively cruel and called for punishment of the man.

“No one has the right to frighten or punish children, especially children of other people,” user tiynalleh expressed the indignation.

“A person should be sent to a penal colony for such things, there is a gross abuse of official power,” user mariya_r_2301 believes.
