Worker blown up by mine in Lachin District dies

At night on April 30, Parvin Salakhov, an employee of a construction company, who had blown up by a mine in the Lachin District during restoration works, died in one of Baku hospitals.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 29, it became known that Parvin Salakhov was seriously wounded in a mine explosion that occurred in the village of Safiyan of the Lachin District.

Parvin Salakhov, born in 1992, a resident of the village of Dag Kesemen of the Agstafa District, who was wounded by a mine explosion in the Lachin District, died at night on April 30, the APA has reported today with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO).

Investigators of the GPO have opened a criminal case; according to their version, Salakhov had blown up himself by a mine during repair and construction works. He was hospitalized in one of Baku hospitals.
