Makhachkala activist reports about his detention

The police detained in Makhachkala Abdulkadir Isaev who held a picket in Moscow in support of political prisoners. According to the activist’s story, a grenade and drugs were planted to him.

On February 12, Abdulkadir Isaev held a solo picket with a poster in support of political prisoners. The police detained the activist and later released him after drawing up a protocol against him on violation of the rules for participation in a picket.

The police explained that Abdulkadir Isaev went to his solo picket on the territory adjacent to the presidential residence, and the law on rallies prohibits holding public events there.
