On March 14-20, 2022, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of March 14-20, 2022, no killed or wounded in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

ECtHR suspends consideration of complaints from Russia

On March 16, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) temporarily stopped considering complaints from Russia in connection with the termination of the Russia’s membership in the Council of Europe (CE). Meanwhile, complaints received before the end of all withdrawal procedures must be considered and decisions executed. Furthermore, in theory, Russian citizens can complain about violations committed before March 16.
