Kutaisi: motor rally is against military operation in Ukraine

Several dozen residents of Kutaisi took part in a protest action against the military operation in Ukraine. They expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine and held a motor rally along city streets.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that daily actions are held in Georgia in support of Ukraine and demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, for his refusal to support anti-Russian sanctions. On March 7, seven activists were detained in Tbilisi after a clash with policemen.

Kutaisi townspeople marched along streets in columns; some of them held flags of Ukraine, the "Rustavi-2" TV Channel reports.

According to demonstrators, in order to stop the military operation in Ukraine, the unity of the world community is needed. They called on all those who are not indifferent to express their support to the people of Ukraine in various possible ways.
