Azerbaijani serviceman blown up by mine in Kalbadjar District

An Azerbaijani serviceman was blown up by a mine near the village of Baglypyaiya in the Kelbadjar District; the wounded serviceman Yusif Einiev was hospitalized, the APA News Agency reported on January 2, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The incident occurred on January 2, at about 5:00 p.m., the edition "Oxu.Az" has specified with reference to the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO).

At the military medical institution, where the victim was evacuated, he was diagnosed with "explosive trauma and a traumatic amputation of the lower third of the left leg," the edition has added.
