It follows from the data posted on the website of the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (known as EMISS).

Annually in Chechnya, no more than 20-30 missing persons are found; in North Ossetia and Karachay-Cherkessia, they find every tenth one, the RIA "Novosti" has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has repeatedly reported about disappearances of residents of Chechnya. Thus, Zelimkhan Bakaev, a singer, who lived in Moscow, arrived in Grozny in August 2017 for his sister's wedding, after which he disappeared. Relatives stated that they had been looking for Bakaev, but failed to establish his whereabouts.
