Yerevan protesters demand to abandon border delimitation

Activists of the "Liberation Movement" have called on residents of Armenia not to allow the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, to sign documents on border delimitation with Azerbaijan, because this would "put an end to" Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 24, activists of the "Liberation Movement" paralyzed the work of the Yerevan metro for 15 minutes in protest against the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan. Two protesters were taken to police stations.

On November 24, in Republic Square in Yerevan, the "Liberation Movement" held another rally "against the anti-Armenian processes."

The organizers reiterated that the Movement is non-partisan; and they gathered under the Armenian tricolour; and they are united by their common goals and objectives in the name of Armenia.

In her speech, Sofia Ovsepyan, a former Armenian MP, stated that Nikol Pashinyan has entered a game with Turkey and Azerbaijan and wants to play this game at the expense of the Armenian people. "With that Turkey, which had carried out the Armenian genocide and now refuses to recognize this crime; with that Turkey, which does not miss the moment everywhere to go against Armenia and Armenians. We won't allow this," she has stated.

According to her story, Nikol Pashinyan stated during an online press conference that he plans to sign the document that proceeds from Armenia's interests too. "I assure you, this is the document that will finally put an end to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), but we won't allow it to happen; and this requires consolidation. We won't allow Pashinyan to take such a fateful step," Ms Ovsepyan has stated.
