Victory of Kadyrov's son in boxing ring sparks scepticism in social networks

Eli, a Ramzan Kadyrov's son, has defeated his opponent at the "Time of Legends-7" boxing tournament held in Grozny. His victory was predictable, his rival has succumbed, social network users have suggested.

Eli Kadyrov has defeated Khetag Khatkarov, the "Chechnya Today" has reported.

"It's a sensation, of course, that Kadyrov's son has won the tournament," the author of the message on the 1ADAT Telegram channel has remarked ironically.

Four Kadyrov's sons – Eli (Zelimkhan), Adam, Akhmad and Abubakar – are engaged in boxing. Fights with their participation had earlier raised doubts among fans. At the tournament in mixed martial arts (MMA) named "Grand Prix Akhmat-2016" held in Grozny, three of Kadyrov's sons won victories in fights, one of them – by a knockout. The coach and father of the knocked-out child had stated that the fights were staged.

Oyub Titiev and Ruslan Kutaev, Chechen human rights defenders, have suggested that coaches and tournament organizers are often behind the victories of Kadyrov's sons. They are part of the entourage of the head of Chechnya and would not upset him.
