Law enforcers report terror act prevention in Stavropol Territory

A suspect of preparing a terror act in the Stavropol Territory has been detained; explosives and striking elements for a bomb were found in his house.

"An attempt by a supporter of the "Islamic State" (IS), an international terrorist organization, banned in Russia, to commit a high-resonant terror act on transport infrastructure facilities in the Stavropol Territory by using an improvised explosive device (IED) has been prevented," the Russian Federal Security Bureau (FSB) has announced.

According to the FSB, the suspect was detained; explosives were found during a search in his house.
